On receipt of a report from PCB Regional Development Officer (RDO) Sialkot Region, PCB has blacklisted the following schools of Sialkot Region for two years for violating the rules of the Pepsi/PCB School Cricket Tournament 2006:
a. New Model School Kharota Sayedan Sialkot
The following players from Sialkot Region have been banned for two years for violating the rules of the Pepsi/PCB School Cricket Tournament 2006. They would not be able to participate in any type of cricket in Pakistan during this period.
a. Syed Alamdar Shah s/o Syed Sajjad Hussain Shah played for New Model School Kharota Sayedan Sialkot. He has been banned because he is actually a school teacher of the same school rather than a student. This is the first instance in Pakistan cricket history that a school teacher has taken part in a tournament meant for school boys only.
b. Irfan Shah who played for New Model School Kharota Sayedan Sialkot and Amanullah Khan who played for Government Jinnah Efficiency High School Sialkot have been banned as they were actually students of Government Murray College Sialkot.
c. Hafiz Adeel and Umar Farooq who played for Government Jamiah High School Sheikhupura have been banned as they were found to be over-aged.
